MAXIMIZING IMPACT The work of WHO in Bahrain Annual report 2022

This WHO Bahrain annual report for 2022 provides a comprehensive overview of important activities and initiatives that were implemented by the World Health Organization’s (WHO) Country Office in Bahrain from January to December 2022. It gives many examples of how the WHO Country Office used new and innovative ways of working, collaborating and fostering dialogues with the Government of Bahrain and other key partners and stakeholders to accelerate progress towards the three strategic priorities of WHO’s Thirteenth General Programme of Work: achieving universal health coverage (UHC), addressing health emergencies and promoting healthier populations.
