Our Common Agenda Policy Brief 9: A New Agenda for Peace

The New Agenda for Peace presents twelve concrete sets of proposals for action in five priority areas. 

It calls on all countries to prioritize diplomacy – particularly when states disagree, and to make full use of my good offices to bridge divides so that humanity does not become collateral damage in an all-out geopolitical competition between major powers.

As the only truly universal platform, the United Nations must be at the centre of these efforts.
